The CAPP2 trial conducted in the United Kingdom showed that consuming 30 grams of resistant starch per day for at least 2 years can reduce the risk by over 45% for all non-CRC Lynch Syndrome cancers and by even more, over 60%, for upper gastrointestinal cancers, such as pancreatic, stomach, bile duct, duodenal (the beginning of the small intestine). This eect was enduring during the 20 year follow up of participants.
