To win and survive, you’ll need a list of tangible, specific goals to go after. They’re going to take some work to achieve, but you can do it. # Play like a pro Our favourite pro athletes don't mess around with their important games. They hit the field with clear objectives: - Put the ball in the other team's net! - Score more points in the next hour than they do! - Run faster than they do! Clear. Easily understandable. And, you'll know it when it’s done. The rest of this Section 2 (2.3 → 2.7) holds the goals and objectives I believe are necessary to win this game against cancer. You might have more to add to the list, but these are the basics you should start with because they are fundamental to success. > [!info] Note: All of these objectives are available to *any* person, of *any* age, in *any* health or any economic position. You'll notice I use the word "optimize" a fair bit. This is because it doesn't matter *where* you're starting from, we all have the ability to *optimize*, or make something better. Even a healthy person will have some room for improvement. I sure did. I'm pretty healthy (other than cancer) 🤣 I eat a good diet, have low stress, and live an active lifestyle. But clearly that wasn't enough to stop cancer from finding me. On Day One I looked at all the good things I already did and realized I could—and clearly needed to—do better if I wanted to live a long life. So please know, *believe*, that you can be better too. Wherever you're at now, you can find ways to up your game and recover.
